athletic?....?

im absolutely athletic and excel at whatever sport i try at. im about 5'11 and a pg for our modified at 8th grade. my vertical however is only 18 inches. it sucks cuz i cant do alot of wondrous hang time stuff. is there anyway to be a great basketball

If you are one abode of the damned of a shot it won't really matter. The trick stuff looks forbidding but isn't all that important when compared to how you actually play.

Strength training and rail training can help your vertical a lot.

You don't have to be big and knowledgeable to be a jujitsu player. My instructor is a 2nd degree black cincture under Gracie Barra and is only 135-140 pounds and about 5'5. He's very extensive and as all martial arts go it's about technique not strength.
