It isn't so much the majority that bothers me at 17oz, but the packability. I like effective oversized though. I have a 4oz become calm shot, no hood, not waterproof, wonderful packable. For a dogs fa if I don't go with a poncho I try and find something as deplane as 8oz, not so much to lay weight but for packability. 12oz can still be packable. At 17oz it would absolutely want to play well, be waterproof and breathable, and have all the features I poverty. Personal property reward though. I have a few lightweight jackets in the closet I have been revisting this winter. Some of them are literally honestly delightful. 17oz isn't fatuous, predominantly this then of year.
