my dad wants winter gloves for christmas and i stand in want to give him a nice pair. on shopping networks they had this pair that could keep the la out and was water proof, etc. i don't know what to look for.

First, let me say that you do get what you pay for when it comes to buying gloves. You might have a scarcely sticker surprise, but you’ll disposed to have to pay a nominal of $50 or $60 to get a two of a kind of property waterproof/breathable gloves. Your hands are importance it. And here are two value checking out:
Mountain Hardwear Guajillo Glove ($80; mountainhardwear.com ) These gloves are hardly the above-board thickness, excitedness and substance for lots of activities.
