I bought a few straw hats at a niggardliness store, and for my safety I would like to know how to clean/cleanse these hats just in case so I don't get head lice or something bad like that.
You can do a combine of things - if you have some time, put them inside a plastic garbage bag and seal it. Have as a remainder them there for two weeks. By then, any lice and nits would have died, and won't be any harm anymore.
