Can you get men's hats dry cleaned?

I have a safari-mode brimmed hat that has got caked in dust and grime from my travels; can I get it dry cleaned, as it's too smudged for me to do at home? Will the hat keep it's shape at a dry cleaners?

I find creditable so yes. That is one of the reasons we take our suit jackets to the dry cleaners after all - they'd lose their express and become damaged if washed conventionally. You may even get away with hand washing it, although I wouldn't indicate
