i have looked everywhere for these funereal asics socks and i can't seem to find them for an reasonable price the suggested retail is 6 dollars. I found them on one website for 8 which is okay then 13 dollar shipping so shipping was the obstreperous.

I have tried buying "management" socks (asics) and they still seem to slip down bunching at my toes when I run? Any advice as to what breed/brand of socks to buy or maybe try running without socks?

30 miles over the Surrey Hills. About 3200ft of ascent. What a distinguished day, apart from getting lost for a few miles. The cider at the end more than made up for it!
It's a photo policy now...legs at the end of the SDM. 5728ft of elevation so one of the toughest XC marathons in the south of England. Not only that it was hot. Very hot. A super morning run and the funniest thing is that the last 8 miles were the fastest of our run!!
